Our desire is to offer dialogue, acknowledgement and information in different formats for families and educators who want to transform their approach, move through their daily lives with well-being, re-signify their interactions with children and get closer to the reference adult that they want to become.
Through play, the child appropriates his own existence and the world. Through quality care, the child develops language, security and affective bonds. Through their curiosity and action, the child discovers the world and marvels.
Our purpose is to find ways from observation (of children and of our actions as adults) to accompany early childhood with a deep sense of the meaning of life and, at the same time, with lightness. Thus, the Childhood Observatory was born.
How do we promote and make education simpler, more careful and full of essence and meaning? How to stick to what is essential, what has value, quality, what really matters?
In front of a child, what do you see? How do you act? What do you think?
These questions are guides for Thais Lefcadito and what she wants to offer to the world.
Passionate about life and fascinated by childhood, she found her true vocation and inspiration in the world of education. As a professional and as a mother, she defends the importance of quality care and the power of play.
